Families love having some aquatic fun in Southwest Florida! See below for a sample itinerary.
Day 1
Cayo Costa to Captiva Island
With nine miles of beautiful beaches and acres of pine forests, oak-palm hammocks and mangrove swamps, this barrier island park is a Gulf Coast paradise. Cayo Costa is accessible only by private boat or ferry. Visitors may see manatees and pods of dolphins in the waters around the 2,426 acre park, as well as a spectacular assortment of birds. Enjoy the day with swimming, jet skiing, and shelling. Then spend the evening at the South Seas Resort on Captiva Island and enjoy water slides, a tiki bar and pool, golf, tennis, shopping, dining and a kids camp.
Day 2
Cruise to Tween Waters on Captiva Island
Cruise to ‘Tween Waters Inn on Captiva island and experience miles of sugar-sand beaches, olympic-size pool, hot tubs and children’s wading pool, day spa, tennis and more. Take a Kayak tour of Buck Key and explore the “secret” trails and hidden coves in the mangrove forests. End the night at the Old Captiva House for dinner and a spectacular beach sunset.
Day 3
Cabbage Key to Fort Myers
Have lunch on Cabbage Key and experience one hundred acres of tropical vegetation surround with a panoramic view of Pine Island Sound. End the night with a Pirate Cruise and Parrot Key Restaurant for dinner (trolley service available).
Day 4 and 5
Your Choice!
Days 4 and 5 are your choice of destination! Stay overnight/an extra day at ‘Tween Waters Inn or the South Seas Resort!
